We’ve just returned from 10 nights at Coniston Park Coppice site & we would have loved to stay longer. The site is probably one of the largest sites we’ve stayed on, but it doesn’t feel that way as pitches are set in small groups in glades. The site location is excellent for access to many of the lakes key towns & attractions and is within walking distance of Coniston village, but we also enjoyed spending time sat on our pitch watching the bird life venture out from the woodland to feed at the edge of our pitch, definitely a site to remember to take your binoculars! The site is well managed and the facilities are well kept. If you appreciate peace & quiet in a woodland setting, but with plenty to do on your doorstep, then we can recommend this site. We’re looking forward to returning to this site in the future.
