We booked this site last minute, we couldn't get in any sites that were open in November close to home so ended up here. So glad we did. Two thirds of the site was closed but what WAS open was big enough and lovely. I cant wait to see the site in the summer in full bloom, it is very natural and your not on top of each other, nice spaced out pitches, surrounded by nature. There is a lovely walk off the site along the Lake along to the nearest town, its pathed all the way and takes about 30 mins depending how fast or slow you walk. The town has several Pubs, cafes, and shops. Also access to the pier where you can go on boat rides on the lake, where there is also a lovely restaurant overlooking the Lake. If your feeling energetic theres THE OLD MAN to climb up...we will do it next time!!!! The wardens on this site are really lovely, nice happy attitude , happy to help and make you feel very welcome. We defiantly will go back to this site infact I may go for the New year weather permitting.
