This was our second trip to this site located conveniently on the edge of Coniston village and Coniston Water. As with our previous trip the welcome was warm and helpful, booking in made extremely easy and straight forward. Advice was given to find a quiet spot and where facilities were on site as well as those in the immediate neighbourhood. Despite the size of the site and it being school holidays it was surprisingly quiet as the site is split into different areas. An excellent idea. Laundry, toilets and showers on site were utilised and all in good working order, clean and warm, ensure a good supply of coins for the laundry though! The Motorhome Service Point that we used was clean and everything easily accessible, so not too much going backwards and forwards or moving the MH for different things. One of the great things with the site was the number of these points dotted around, not just the one with everybody queuing to use. Lighting around the site is good low level which was more than adequate for finding yur way around the site without causing too much light pollution. The only reason for marking down the 'Good for Families' section is that we did not look for this type of activity, so could not give a proper assessment. Thank you all, I'm sure we will be back
