Have just returned from a 3 night stay at this site in our motorhome. The pitches are not regimented and many of them are tucked away under the trees which we really liked. The toilet blocks were spotless and well maintained with simple but effective Covid precautions in place. Other than on arrival we had no contact with the staff however, they were very helpful and friendly when we booked in. The roads to the site in both directions have several tight spots, we had our wing mirror whacked by an idiot driving too fast in a 4x4 however, most drivers were considerate and either reduced speed or stopped to allow wider vehicles to pass. We were blessed with lovely weather and enjoyed watching the wildlife on the site our Jack Russell was particularly interested in the numerous squirrels. This is a well maintained site in a beautiful location ideal for touring the lake District and enjoying a relaxing stay, we will definitely be returning.
