Like pitching up in a quarry!!
My least favourite club site so far. Why? There was hardly any greenery, no flowers and slate every where. Finding a pitch was very hit and miss and many were incredibly uneven- despite using our leveller to the max, I still had to hold my pans on the hob to cook. On the plus side, the facilities were clean, the shop good and the location, 30 mins walk to Coniston good- but so they should be at £27-50 per night! Is it me, or have prices at club sites increased a lot?
