Stayed at Coppice Park mid-January despite the gloomy weather forecast, we were there three nights over a weekend and had a great stay. Dry weather until the Sunday night when the heavens opened. The site was partially closed due to the time of year but still plenty of room for the number of visitors. Huge site with well-spaced pitches in a wooded area, all hardstanding, many on a bit of a slope so levelling blocks required. Easy walk to Coniston lake with walks alongside the lake as far as Coniston village and beyond. Excellent toilet/shower block with plenty of facilities. Easy access to water, waste points and chemical disposal. Staff in reception very welcoming and helpful with good knowledge of the local area.
