Great Site and Ideal for the Kids
This was our first visit to Park Coppice. The site is fantastic and the shower blocks were very clean and nice and warm, which is always good in the middle of February. Many of the pitches have a slope, so leveling blocks are needed. Our kids loved the freedom and space to explore on their bikes.
The site is between Coniston and Torver, but both villages can be reached by footpath. The path to Conistion is very nice for either biking or walking, although there are a number of gates, which does make the bike ride a bit stop/start. We can recommend the Black Bull pub in Conistion and the Wilsons Arms in Torver for food.
The only slight niggle and this comes with all wooded sites, is that if it rains (which is highly likely in the Lakes), then it feels like the roof of the caravan is being bombarded with stones. Ear plugs for our next visit.
