This was our first time using a Caravan Club site and think our choice was excellent. We weren't sure what to expect but we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful and the facilities were spotless. The site is well spread out therefore it did take us a while to find an appropriate pitch.  A lot of the pitches are under trees and don't get much sunshine leaving things with a damp feeling.  Definitely get a pitch in the sun!  We also noticed a lot of the pitches are uneven so levelling blocks are a must (can be purchased in the shop).  That said, the site is ideal for Coniston and Torver. The area is amazing with lots of low level and more strenuous walks for the adventurous. We will definitely return and would thoroughly recommend a visit.
