Great location just 400 yards from Coniston lake shore. Pitches are well distributed amongst the woodland, although many have a steep cross fall meaning that large ramps are a must. Toilet facilities are very well kept. Weather over May Bank Holiday was fantastic, although the edge was taken off it by the persistent ball games. Like all club sites these days, the wardens turned a blind eye. I asked them to have a word with a group of kids and adults who were persistently belting a ball against the side of an unoccupied new Coachman on a seasonal pitch. They agreed to sort it....2 hours later, no-one had been near! In summary, a great location, shame that no-one respects or enforces Caravan Club's rules.
