First weekend with the new caravan and awning and a new site too...!!! Fortunately the weather took it upon itself to be kind to us... We couldn't have asked for better! Four days solid sunshine. Helpful wardens on arrival, usual rules, speed limits etc. Advised of which walk was best to get to the village. Pitched up close to the bottom play area, good location, handy for everything. Easy walk into Coniston for sampling the local ale, nice walk over to Tarn Howes. Cant wait for our next trip. Facilites spotless, usual caravan club standard. Just wish everyone would adhere to the site speed limit. It's there for a reason,.
