This was my husband & my first time to this Club site. Wardens were helpful & pleasant at reception, explained how the site was set out and gave us a site map. The 3 toilet blocks were very clean as you'd expect from Club sites and were located evenly about the site and we found a pitch probably middle of the site. Little shaded but when the sun was out it was pleasant enough. Although a very big site it never felt over-crowded because of all the small sectioned off areas. I'm sure some larger outfits may find it more difficult to maneuver around the area. The site is a pleasant walk from Coniston and we found the circuit round Coniston Lake a nice cycle and the roads were relatively quiet, but we probably would have had more choice if we'd taken mountain bikes rather than road racing bikes. Good area for walking dogs too. Probably won't go back to this particular site due to the narrowness of the roads on approach from the north or south, but we had a lovely peaceful break.
