We had a fantastic week at coniston .all you come to expect from a club site. staff were all very helpful .fish and Chip van  on Tuesday's and Friday's from 18:00 .nice walks around coniston water very nice pub, the ship is 3/4 mile walk  away  a public pathway runs from behind the office .cross the road  and on to the next path , the old man of coniston is a great walk  with stunning views  .when we went it was so quiet .we don't have kids so would not no if any good for them saying that if outdoor activities is your thing would love it . would I go back that's a big yes .
