We stayed with our 4 daughters and our dog, this is a fantastic site, my girls loved staying in the woods, we were pitched opposite one of the three play areas so it was fairly noisy during the day but my children were at the park having a brilliant time with new friends, I like the noise of children playing but I noticed the site is a lot quieter at the top away from the play areas. The location is excellent, there is so much to do, we only used our car once during the week, there are lots of off road cycle routes direct from the site, we rode to Torver and had tea and cake at the Torver Deli, we hired a motor boat from Coniston Water which was great fun, we drive to Grizedale Forest and did GoApe, we walked up the Old Man and enjoyed stunning views, it was a fantastic week and the site was a perfect base, I can’t fault it.
