Wonderful, characterful site, lovely tranquil pitch amongst the trees. Friendly helpful wardens and immaculate, warm facilities. Fantastic chip shop van - best we've ever had - good value, generous portions of top quality fish and chips, the pie was a superb home made tray bake yum!  Great location with superb walking and cycling. Coniston Lake shore a short distance away and as picturesque as ever. Coniston itself has some nice pubs - The Ship Inn being the nearest and great value for Sunday Lunch. The only downside was having to leave.
