Things have changed! There is a new entrance road and Reception Area with plenty of spaces for new arrivals. Still lots of trees and most pitches are shaded by trees, with lots under trees too and it still rains a lot but that's why it's so green. This site has improved with so many hard standings although some are a little small. We were lucky getting a good pitch that did get sun at certain times of the day but quite a walk back up the hill from the loo block. The wardens were very helpful and toilet blocks immaculate. Where we were pitched 35 years ago they are putting in cabins, do we really need this? After all we are the Caravan and Motorhome Club so why are we erecting cabins, these should be pitches for members. Obviously we didn't complain enough when Pods started to appear, can we stop please and keep this a club for members!
