Helpful friendly staff from the minute we arrived. Always happy to help and give advise when asked about both the area and camping issues. The facilities were spotlessly clean whenever I went in. There was a small shop with a few basis supplies, including milk and bread. There were plenty of walks from the site and also excellent cycling. Some of the cycling was not for the faint hearted as a lot of the hills were very strenuous. The route around the lake was beautiful however some stretches were very steep, but the views were definitely worth it. The Bryn arms which is a 5 min walk from the site served excellent food. There is a bus stop within 10 min walk from the site with buses to Porthmadog. We had an excellent stay here and would definitely come to this site again.
