Had a week here. Only 3 showers for 93 pitches but understand they are being updated next year. The most annoying thing we found was the children facing around on bikes, but going through the shower block entrance, we had a couple of near misses. You definitely need a car to get out and about, there were a couple of nice walks around the reservoir which brought you to a lovely village pub. The one by campsite just to busy to relax. We cycled to porthmerion which was super,, but the roads are not really for cycling and return journey up a steep hill. So will definitely not return in school holiday time but also it’s not easy to get to Bala and places without a car.
