This site is a perfect location for us due to the proximity to Coed y Brenin forest for great mountain biking. Had a terrible journey so only turned up at 7.45 which i thought was great until i arrived to find the reception closed !!! Fortunately i hung around for some time and the warden saw me and allowed me to check in, again not the most friendly though, I felt as if he was doing me a favour. The most important thing to note is the extremely poor quality of the shower block. Showers with no changing area or bench is not what you expect nowadays on club sites, I have not visited the majority of the club sites but these facilities including the dish wash area are by far the worst I have encountered on my travels. There are numerous other camp sites in the area so next time i think i will be staying at one of those.
