very nice site great childrens play area the kids enjoyed it, the only problem we found with no fault to the site that the older kids wasn't checked on by their parents on the play area and some kids were a little bit naughty like runnnig between the swings when other kids were on them which is very dangerous when you have a 2 and 6 year watching them, and having to explain they didn't do it themselves and for us to tell the older children not to do it, also one of them throwing a glass bottle towards the bin then missing with the glass going in the grass around it, for my husband to then go to try and clean the broken glass up, also for them to be a bit mouthy around the younger children. the room in the showers were small compared to the other sites we have visited, we found it too small for either parent to take a child in each and for us we found it easier to take a shower in our caravan. harlech castle is a great place to visit, with a nice cafe which we found very nice and helpful staff on our visit, which you can also take your dog even though the leaflet says otherwise porthmadog beach is a great place to go for the day in the nice weather £5 for parking but worth it, to spend the day just load the car up picnic etc toilet block there ice cream vans driving around all you need for the day also dogs allowed. greenwood forst a bit of a drive but the smaller kids loved it dogs allowed great place, portmerion no dogs allowed which was disapointing. the cycle area up the road was no good for smaller kids more for advanced riders but looked like a nice area. not too far if you want to drive to anglesey for the day. the area of the lake was very disapointing as there was dog mess everywhere but we spoke to another family who visited another part which said it was nice. would visit the site again.
