Lovely Location - beware the rules!

We really liked this site and as usual with club sites it is broken down int 'cul-de-sacs' which gives the impression of being small and cosy (It isn't a big site anyway). The welcome was great and a lovely piece of cake was offered. The location was ideal for doing the little trains of Wales, Snowdonia, a really interesting tour of the slate mine/quarry in Blaenau Ffestiniog and the incredible Zip World near Bethesda! Highly recommend the Sunday carvery at the Bryn Arms -might not be how you normally get served but the food was hot and delicious! Two small downsides: Firstly - the shower curtains are actually too close to the shower and all the while you are showering you have to fight off a cold and wet shower curtain that insists on trying to cling onto you at every opportunity! Secondly - the wardens are just a little bit too rigorous at implementing the rules - our dog had quite literally poked his head out of the awning door and we received a "get that dog on a lead", even though he wasn't outside!

While I accept on this occasion this could be construed as over vigilance, I constantly see members flouting and in some cases completely ignorong the rules about dogs or leads and exercising them, if that's the correct term, round the site rather than the dog walk areas. If dog owners were all responsible then the warden's life would be much easier and they not become the villains on one hand of over proscription and on the other of failing to enforce the club rules. They are so often caught between a a rock and a hard place

Yes, I agree - I'd rather the wardens be pro-active than turn a blind eye to transgressions.
