Great site - we have visited a number of times through the years and the upgraded facilities are really good, especially the toilet blocks which can now be cleaned without closing them. Brilliant play park with good quality equipment and a separate enclosed footy pitch. Excellent dog walk. I would echo the comments of other members re the WiFi - we stay on CLs and small commercial sites where WiFi is free and at a standard which allows streaming without constantly dropping out. The CAMC charges top dollar for pitches but the WiFi service across the Club network does not reflect these charges when compared to what is on offer elsewhere. This is less of an issue where there is good phone coverage but at Clumber it is a real issue. A free log in for 2 devices linked to a broadcast system that is fit for purpose would be a start! We managed with the free WiFi because we were opposite one of the masts, but we had issues at Trewethit Farm site in Cornwall where we not so close to a mast and phone coverage was poor. The washing machines were out of action and we needed them - instead we went to Rick's Launderette in Retford. He does the wash and you get back a bag of clean and folded laundry the same day. He also does duvets! Recommended!
