Came here after dropping a relative to visit a friend in Bawtry. 3 night motorhome stay. Excellent site in a great location except that telephone signal is almost non existent on site. We knew this already as it is well publicised and it is possible to cope without. Unfortunately, when we tried to leave the motorhome would not start. So the lack of telephone signal did become a problem. The site personnel were very helpful and considerate, even though they were expecting 80 new arrivals that day. We got hold of the AA who quickly diagnosed the problem and eventually changed the starter motor and were able set off for home 7 hours later. No pressure to leave at the usual time, and even the suggestion that we could stay another night if the part was a continuing problem despite them being very busy. The site team were excellent, though bettered by the AA patrolman who went above and beyond to get us on the road again. I have knocked off one star because of the telephone signal which of course is not the fault of the site. We will happily come back again for the other excellent things here.
