This is the second time my family and I have stayed at this Caravan Park this year and we are still only in January. I indicated on my booking that we would be arriving between 6-7, and the extremely helpful and friendly staff were there ready and waiting. We were allowed to pick our own pitch and then let them know where we were in order to get the facilities keys. Once the car was parked up it stayed there. The location is picturesque, beautifully surrounded by trees. Theres a play area for the children. The walks around the park are beautiful. There is no tv reception so if your wanting to watch tv then make sure you have a very long cable to plug in to the aerial sockets. No phone reception or wifi, but with views and countryside like clumber park who needs those things. It was brilliant to get away from reality for a while, which is why I think we have been twice this month and will continue to go back. The shower blocks and the rest of the facilities are spot on for the job, the water is hot and the place is kept clean...really what more can you ask for? We asked the wardens if we would be allowed to depart later than 12 on our departure day and was advised to ask again on the actual day as they know the if they will need the pitch of not. I love clumber park and I love the walks, my 3 year old even walked all the way up to clumber park and around the venue without complaining, and he cried when it was time to come home! Definate recommendation from me!
