This site is 40 minutes from home,we went often when our children were younger and returned this summer with grandchildren who loved it. With rabbits and squirrels on site and able to wonder safely in the trees it was perfect. We decided to try our first Xmas break in the caravan,not sure how we would go if it snowed! It was brilliant it did snow and we were snug in the caravan,the toilet block was lovely and warm and the area gritted well. It was a proper winter wonderland,we just walked in the park. Perfect. If there was a tiny niggle it was that the site roads were not gritted, but grit was available which my husband used to help us get off our pitch.
