Two nights stay

My first stay at clumber park, the site wardens were lovely and very helpful and it was good you could pick your own pitches. If you want peace and quiet forget going anywhere near the playground area as it was full of screaming children. Just my opinion as I am anti children and like peace and quiet. Keep well clear of the fish and chip wagon on Friday night £7.00 for fish and chips that were virtually inedible. The dogs wouldn't eat them!! The walks are plentiful through the forest but if like me you have no sense of direction, you could easily get lost as all the trees and paths look the same. Showers and toilets a bit dated but clean, plenty of them, never had to wait for a free one and plenty of hot water. TV reception and phone reception zero, I went for a cable to plug into the main Ariel socket on the hookup post and that was fine then the perfect picture so make sure you take one with you of at least 4M long. Overall it was a nice site if you have children and bikes, but not if you want some peace and quiet, I for one will not be visiting again I'm afraid.
