Another peaceful Christmas at Clumber Park. Even at this time of year there is plenty to keep you occupied. Plenty of walking and cycling on the quiet pathways (busier in summer I might add). A visit to the cafe at the visitor centre or at Hardwick village keeps you going with a hot drink and/or a snack (only closed Christmas Day). Then back to the site for a good Christmas dinner and a quiet night in. Great to see how many other people are out at Christmas and take the time and trouble to decorate their vans with decorations and lights. Everyone gets a great greeting from the staff and the facilities are excellent. Bike shed is provided for security and is a must to use. The addition of the dog/boot/cycle wash point was very welcome and very useful. We had visitors Christmas Eve who were also made to feel very welcome which is a big plus for us and a lot of others who like family around them for Christmas. Well done everyone and thank you.
