Peace at last
Having battled down the A1 it was such a relief to drive through the archway welcoming you to Clumber Park.
The site is spacious set within the forest but not overly shaded. The facilities were up to the usual club standards and the motorhome service point convenient.
Loads of cycle routes and footpaths throughout the forest and to the lake: such a restful spot.
We were only there overnight but would certainly stay longer if we were in the area again: we didn't even have time to visit the National Trust attractions or Robin Hoods hidyhole!
