We had an overnight stop at Clumber on our way North ,and for this it was very conveniently located. The site was spacious with a number of trees producing a restful environment. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We were very happy to settle in these surroundings overnight. The facilities were generally very good and the site was neat and tidy and well maintained. A neighbouring caravanner advised us not to site our caravan on a pitch as he had been flooded out on that pitch the previous year. We were concerned that we had not been advised to avoid that pitch by the warden. Although the shower facilities were adequate we felt they needed a more thorough cleaning of the shower floor tiles.
