Firstly I'd like to thank all of the wardens on site over the Easter weekend. They gave us fantastic support on Saturday after we had 2 bikes stolen from the back of our van. The bike lock up was full on Friday night so i thought it better to lock our 3 bikes up securely behind our van. I woke on Saturday​ morning to find 2 of our bikes had gone! In hindsight and as the wardens advised me on Saturday i should have put our bikes up against the other bikes in the main lock up. There was room but i couldn't have locked the bikes to anything solid. The wardens mentioned that they had some old bikes that had been left behind and that my son could take one. We got a bike for him and after a trip out for a new inner tube he was sorted. The wardens even offered to allow us to take the bike home which we did. Please make you get your bikes in the lock up, if it's full ask the wardens and they will find space in another garage on-site. We love Clumber Park it's our favourite site and we will be back and with our bikes!! Please don't be complacent about your bikes use the lock up, we had ours locked up with good quality locks and the thieves cut through them. Thanks again to the wardens for helping our son out and rescuing a good weekend from a bad start. Keep up the good work and persuade the club to extend the bike lock up please.
