Title says it all really. Entrance to Clumber Park through the stone arch has a real wow factor. Site staff welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. The site is in woodland with alot of trees in and around the site, for us it gave an extra level of charm. The site is quite large with some pitches needing a fairly lengthly 5mph (or under) drive around site to reach. Our grass pitch was nice and firm (no sinking into the grass) and slightly sloping requiring ramps but nothing extreme. We arrived on 'Pizza night' but didn't take advantage, we were just too happy relaxing in the sunshine! Facilities were all incredibly clean and well maintained. Everything worked perfectly including the tv aerial plug in thingy - it saved the day for us! Location is excellent and felt quite rural with no road noise at all. Only minor gripe (not the sites fault) was that the Club Garmin sat-nav tried to take us on the wrong approach along a very small road with a closed gate blocking access. It took us a while to work out the correct access route but clearly we did work it out as we booked in! So book in here for a great site with character in a woodland setting with peace and quiet. P.S. this site felt very well organised for covid safety with hand sanitisers galore, rubber band system at toilets (no showers on this visit, closed due to covid restrictions) which is now standard across all club sites plus enhanced facility cleaning which we thank all staff members for doing so well.
