Heart of the National Trust Park
First the good bits and there's lots of them, the site is very clean and well maintained, there is a children's play area with basketball court there is also free parking if you have visitors and for those of you with dogs there is a dog walking area adjacent to the site as well as the usual reception shop and general facilities, with a pizza van twice a week.
on the opposite side of the road is the entrance to Clumber Park National Trust, a short walk/cycle and you're at the lake and a snack/ice-cream van further along is the main visitor area, this is a great place for walking, cycling, and birdwatching.
The only downside is if you want to go elsewhere without a car, Blythe Rd/A614 has no pavement verge or cycle lane
