As new members this year we have been made very welcome at all the sites we have visited so far....until our recent visit to Clumber!  We where "greeted" by a lady warden at 18:07 (we stated arrival time as 18:00-20:00 when booking) with "have you got £20?" And "it is Winter and you should pay before you arrive if you are going to be late". To be honest her whole attitude was rude and we were obviously a major inconvenience! Be warned and don't be late! Even though it says in the book that arrivals are until 8pm you might just find yourself in the late arrival area?
