Great for Clumber park and Sherwood Forest
Arrived for the bank holiday after a fantastic summer the weather was a bit cooler. Staff were very welcoming which after reading a previous review was not expecting. We had no children so picked the part away from the play area. We had hard standing which was fine and there was a large patch of grass behind. The showers and toilets were cleaned daily. I think parks that are busy should consider an extra visit even if its a quick wipe and tidy. Had one wet afternoon and day but that's not the sites fault. Lots of lovely cycle tracks and walking.
Sherwood forest has a new visitor centre that's worth a visit.
We did see some children running in a group and once they came near. We looked out of the awning and one shouted sorry and went on their way. It is a great place for children and if you get away from the play area you could enjoy it too.
