Another great stay at this lovely site, we have been many times here and enjoy the site and clumber park, great place for bike riding and walks. The site is close to home but yet felt we were miles away. No signal for phones or wifi but sometimes that can be a blessing!! New wardens on site which has made a massive difference in a good way. They are very friendly. I for one was glad to see new wardens as although I love the site we were giving it one last try as we love the site and was not going to let the old wardens ruin this. Enjoyed it so much we have booked to stay for 3 weeks in the 6 weeks holidays and hopefully wifi will be working. The bike shed is fantastic but get your bikes in asap to secure a place. Bike theft is a problem but you are told On arrival to use the bike shed which I noticed has cameras inside. A new camera system seems to have been put in place at the barriers so maybe they are trying to up security. The park on site is fantastic for the kids I hardly saw mine as they made new friends and played out quite a lot. We only booked for 5 nights but ended up staying 11. Fish and chip van comes on a Friday which makes a lovely change from the bbqs and washing up. The site is a big site and even when full does not feel overcrowded. Looking forward to going again soon.
