This was our very first night in our caravan - and old boy - 1995 Elddis XLi Cyclone. When we checked in to Maragowan and we were advised that there was no 'toilet/shower' block, we were immediately concerned but because Maragowan seemed quite busy we thought we would brave going back to nature and rough it using our own caravan toilet and shower. We needn't have worried - Clachan is a quiet and beautiful natural site and we managed fine with our own facilities. We appreciated the peace and quiet of Clachan when we passed Maragowan in the village later - it was busy and crowded.
