Nearly perfect, thank you!
Just returned from a 4 night Easter break, we were on pitch 104 which we love as a bit more space around you. We actually live in Cirencester but drive two miles to go to this site for some respite. All the wardens are lovely, very friendly, it's a very quiet site with a well stocked shop and fab washrooms and showers. The dog field is brilliant to throw a ball and let your dog have a wee first thing and before you go to bed and you are 200 yards from the Bathurst Estate and Cirencester Park, perfect dog walking on the doorstep, you can walk through Cirencester Park down in to the centre of Cirencester so no you don't need the car once you get to the site. We always have a good stay here and despite extremely windy and wet conditions this time we still had a great time.
What would make it absolutely perfect, a hose to wash dogs down after a walk in Cirencester Park, we were talking to the wardens about this and they were coming up with fab ideas, this would be brilliant for us when we don't have the awning up to rinse off the dogs before getting them back into our new van :)
A park bench in the dog field, there are some elderly people who love a chat but can't stand for too long or even my husband and I were up at the field and the sun was setting and it was stunning, would have been lovely to sit on a bench and watch the sun go down while the dogs played.
The only other thing is if you are on the lower end of the site plots 104 etc it would be good to have a gravel path in a direct line to the toilet block/pizza van as it gets quite boggy walking across the grass and if its pouring with rain its a bit of a diversion to walk down to the barrier and back up again to the toilet block if you want to stick to the path and keep your feet dry.
All in all even if we moved away from Cirencester we would still come back and holiday here as Cirencester is a lovely town and the site is well positioned for all facilities.
