Stayed at this wonderful site a number of times and "Yes" have to agree with the other comments regarding the approach road, but if taken carefully shouldn't give too much of a problem. Once the site is reached it's really worth the slight inconvenience. It's a large site but never seems like it as all the pitches are arranged in their own little enclaves with ample room for all. The facilities are immaculate and the wardens do a fantastic job of ensuring they are kept to a very high standard. The only occasion I experienced anything that impacted on the cleanliness was when there was quite a mess in the "Gents" but in transpired that this was caused by some exuberant children, but even in this case the wardens attended to it promptly and without any fuss. Top marks to you guys. I personally don't think that enough people appreciate the tireless work these wardens do to make sure that their visitors have the best stay possible.
The other fantastic thing about this park is its location to Cirencester. You can easily walk into the beautiful Cotswold Town either through Bathurst Park, which I would highly recommend, or by road, and once you do eventually tear yourself away on most nights of the week Pop-Up Food Vendors are awaiting you on site. This is one of the best club sites I have stayed at
Stop over
Used as a one night stop over. Very pleasant greeting at reception and site very good standard although also very busy. Cirencester is walkable through the park and also via the footpaths on the road in a short time. Many different pubs/bars and restaurants to choose from.
Great park, shame the pre 1pm brigade ruin your exit
Spent 3 lovely days here, and also enjoyed the Cotswold Show right next door.
Cannot fault the site in any way, they even have different food vendors 6 days a week.
There was some loud music from a nearby building, I am guessing the college or agricultural university on Saturday night until around 12am, but not enough to prevent sleep.
The negative I have is with other members who arrive at this site pre 1pm (11:53) to be precise.
The gentleman parked his car and van on the entrance road to the site in a passing place, and caused absolute mayhem for any car, caravan or motor home trying to exit the site.
As previously reviewed, the approach to this site is narrow, and has large boulders placed along the road, so any passing has to take place using the passing places provided. Parking in one of these is making a difficult situation near impossible.
I mention this on my review to make other members who are booking here to be aware of the 1pm arrival time, as if you arrive earlier you run the risk of blocking the approach road, or causing damage to your or a members unit.
Shouty man
This is a lovely site, the entrance feels a bit scary with all the boulders lining the single track road but it does ensure you concentrate!
We stayed for two nights, enjoyed a lovely walk with our dogs into Cirencester via the Bathurst estate, really nice and so was the ice cream from a vendor on the estate drive.
Unfortunately when we arrived on the site we joined a queue of about 8 vehicles waiting patiently to enter, we had the encounter with a warden who yelled at the top of his voice " Disco move up". Well my wife was waiting in the car and ready to move when possible due to the line of vehicles waiting. As she had no where to go the yelling was unnecessary rudeness. Shouty man appeared in the panic of wardens to clear the queue, luckily another warden with logic identified the issue and directed my wife to the 'Keep Clear" lane to assist with the vehicle congestion. Not a nice welcome from shouty man. the ret of our stay was lovely and we did not see or hear of him again.
Great Site
Just had a two night stay on this visit but we will visit again. Easy walking access into Cirencester which is a lovely town. There is lots of walking in Cirencester Park itself too. Had expected some traffic noise but didn't notice it at all. Facilities all clean and stocked, rubbish emptied regularly. If you like to do Park Runs there is one a few minutes walk/run from the site.

Inconsiderate
We've been to this site a number of times unfortunately there are some members who consistently walk across your pitch whilst your having a meal or a conversation with friends
We've only had this issue at this site.
Fantastic Site
This was our second visit to the site and really can't fault it. A large site but well laid out, very clean, the wardens extremely friendly.
There is an area for dogs to run about which our pooch loved but sad to say some dog owners still don't pick up after their dogs, this is not the campsites fault but the owners.
It's quiet, easy to walk into Cirencester and a walk through the Bathurst Estate is a must if you visit it is vast!
No problem coming and going on the entrance to the campsite just abide by the instructions given and drive slowly there are passing places.
Can't comment on whether it is good for families as ours are all grown up.
We will definitely visit again.
Excellent site! Will stay again
We stayed at this site for a couple of nights recently and were very impressed througout the stay. Smooth and easy check-in, friendly and knowledgeable staff, pitches were nicely spaced apart, good choice of plots, great location and a lovely walk through parkland to get to the centre. They have a small, but designated 'dog run' field area for your four-legged friends to safely have a run around and play with other dogs, which was fabulous. Our dog loved it there!! Will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.
Great site - walk into town
Stayed May 22. Usual club standards, site kept immaculate. Easy 15 minute walk through estate next door into Cirencester where good selection of shops, pubs etc. one of the closest sites to my home so we have been regulars for years here.
Fairly narrow road in so don’t arrive early - there are passing places though.
Nice touch “park herb garden” by entrance where you can help yourself for a meal.
Is next door to a school but noise not intrusive.
GREAT SITE AND A SUPER LOCATION.
Just back home after a four night visit to this lovely campsite. Although on the large scale with 211 pitches it is carefully designed into separate areas giving a sense of a smaller site. All the warders we met were very friendly and helpful. The shower block was large clean and never busy during our stay. With Bathurst Park only 5 minutes’ walk from the site and the town of Cirencester accessible via the park (0800-1700) it's a great location. The market is on Mondays and Fridays and worth a look. We ate at both The Fleece and The Bear Inn both very good. If you don't fancy eating out most nights various vendors visit the site with a variety of food to take away. Lots of walks to be had in the Park which on some days also have Polo matches (open to visitors) if you wish to go further afield with your walks plenty of those available from 4 miles to 10 miles loops. Also worth a mention is the heated (27 degrees) natural spring outdoor swimming pool (15 minutes’ walk away) we booked a session prior to our visit and as being 60+ the charge of £8.00 for us both we thought was very good.
In summary then a most enjoyable stay and one we intend to visit again when one of the Sounds of the Summer Music Festivals is on in Bathurst Park.
