Great site but..

Great location although entrance signage needs improvement. Wardens are great too. WiFi as at other caravan club sites is awful - we have paid for Premium WiFi but it's a joke when the site is half full. I feel conned. The Club needs to get its act together on this. The decison to move all the bins to a location just the other side of reception is a daft one although the vermin and foxes will love it as people will leave their rubbish at the toilet block rather than walk all the way back to reception. Good selection of viisting food vans.

Great for walking into Cirencester or around the park

We come to this site every year, this year twice. Great for dogs - a large dog exercise field on site and the vast expanse of Cirencester Park next to the site. You now need a pass to get into the park ( and it is only open between 8am and 5pm ) which you can get from the site office for £10 refundable. The walk into the town centre through the park takes about 20 minutes and there are plenty of shops to suit all tastes. Although the site is large, the pitches are generally well spaced out although quite a number are under trees which we do not like but we have usually been able to find a pitch to our liking. The toilet blocks are up to the usual high club standard. The only disappointment is the awful wi-fi. The club made a song and dance last year about how it was improving wi-fi at its sites. Numerous private sites provide good wi-fi these days and many places provide it for free. The club is lagging hopelessly behind in this respect.

Great site but....

Stayed many times at this site and love it but! The noise from the building site next door was bad at 7.30 in the morning and maybe that was why there were dogs barking all day! Going to go on a grass pitch which will be further away from the noise next visit!

Lovely Site

We've been visiting Cirencester Club site for quite a few years now but mainly in the Autumn, Winter period. With this in mind, in hindsight, we would've preferred a grass pitch as they were quite spacious and with not so much of a 'hemmed in' feel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities, as usual, extremely clean and tidy at all times. Disappointing that there were no food offerings at all while we were there which in high season is unusual. I think the Pizza must have cancelled...but no breakfast either...oh well... Cheaper than Broadway so better value for money. Paying for Wifi still annoying at these prices as well...

Peaceful stop over

We stopped here on our way home to the South West from touring NC500. Even though we had a very long day travelling we were greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. Our choice of pitch was limited due to our late arrival. However the pitch was sufficient for our 1 night stop over. Amenities good and a really good dog field for our Labrador to run around in. Staff very pleasant when passing and made an effort to chat and make you feel welcome. We walked a 15 minute pleasant into the centre of Cirencester.....what a lovely place. Plenty of choices of pubs and restaurants and shops to explore. Local people very welcoming and dog friendly. Will definitely be booking a longer stay here next time.

Cirencester

A very good site to base yourself while visiting the Cotswolds. The site is clean with above average facilities and spacious pitches. This site has personality and is a pleasant 20 minute walk away from Cirencester via free access to Cirencester park (£10 refundable deposit). All staff have been cheerful and happy to help. My only criticism is the wi-fi which to be frank in this day and age is shocking - 60 mins free access that constantly drops or a £5 per day premium charge via BT which is equally disappointing.

Great site on 2 counts.

Our stay at this site has once again been ideal. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone! We were able to visit my wife's very elderly aunt and keep our grandsons active and entertained. The site was of a standard we always get from the club and the staff were their usual friendly, cheerful selves. We've visited this site many times over the last 10 years and it never fails to live up to expectations.

Beautiful Site

This is a stunning site, just a short walk from the beautiful town of Cirencester. At the time of our visit we were given free access into the adjacent park, well worth a visit. Nearby cafe/bar and visiting takeaway options.

Lovely campsite

We stayed at Cirencester Park Campsite for 3 nights on a hardstanding pitch, the site is very well maintained, with helpful & friendly staff. Being able to access Cirencester Park with a refundable deposit of £10 for a pass is worthwhile & we would visit the site again if in the area :)

Motorhome visit

Excellent site is all I can say, 212 pitches yet every pitch had lots of space and privacy. Nice to be able to chose your pitch too. We pitched by the trees which was so peaceful. We had a little vixen visit us every day. We knew there were foxes here so this was so sweet, very friendly so used to people feeding her, I soon ran out of ham and cheese lol. We even saw one of the cubs. Lots of toilets and showers the were immaculate. Short walk up the path to catch the bus to cirencester. Tv ariel by hook up to great tv signal too. Staff very helpful and we even stayed an extra night. Very well organised too 5* from me.
