Challenging
Brilliant 5 nights
Great first trip of the year
Ideal for a short break
Disappointed with whole visit
To start with a very unfriendly manor by wardens as soon as I stepped foot in the office also after an unfriendly driver on approach to site on the awful rock loaded road, I thought I have arrived and I could relax, how wrong I was . 1 - cutting of grass up to vehicles too close whilst we are in them Should be done before and after arrival 2- strimming within 3 metres whilst eating breakfast outside as well as cutting No consideration again should be carried out as above 3- emptying of recycled glass at 6.30 am I would think waking up a lot of people 9am is an appropriate time 4- an argument regarding a small dog tent outside someone’s awning Really ? After watching another member allowing his dogs exercise of the lead , that seems ok ! I am fed up of going for a walk and hearing peoples issues with site staff we pay our membership to come away for a break and I honestly feel my money has been badly spent the last 4 days I am not happy and have not enjoyed my break GET RID OF THESE WARDENS CIRENCESTER IS A LOVELY SITE
Response from the Club:
Many thanks for your review. The site team at Cirencester Park have been in touch as they work incredibly hard to ensure the site is well cared for and that everybody on site has the best experience possible. As such they would like to address your concerns.
Please be assured that the site team try to ensure any inconvenience is minimised but as the site is open 24/7 the team do have to cut the grass whilst there are guests on pitches to maintain the site for the enjoyment of all guests. The site team ensure strimming is always carried out 15 metres from outfits. We are sorry that the emptying of glass recycling at 6.30am disturbed you. This is not normal and the Site Manager is aware of this and is taking this matter up with the contractor to ensure it does not occur so early in the day again. The site team had to ask a member to move the tent as it had been put up on the fire break causing a health and safety risk. They were polite in their request and did their utmost to help the member. The site team had not been made aware of anyone exercising their dogs off the lead. If they had been advised, or had seen this, they would have spoken to the owner to reconfirm Club Rules on this subject. If you see this happening again please do let the team know.
We hope this helps address your concerns and we hope to welcome you to a Club Site again soon.
