My wife and I stayed here during the recent snowy, cold snap and it was stunning. Snow everywhere but the wardens worked tirelessly to keep the paths clear. Just step through the door in the site wall and you are in the grounds of Chatsworth House. Great for walking and cycling. Take a hearty stroll up to the hunting tower and the top of the hill and despite being positioned (as it's name implies) for panoramic views you can't see the discreetly hidden caravan site. Alternatively turn the heating up in your caravan/motorhome and watch all the ducks and pheasants meandering about the site as though they own the pace. Heaven.
