This was our second stay at Chatsworth. It enjoys a great location, but it is difficult to like the site. The chain across the entrance greets new visitors. You then join a queue of guests waiting to check in. The reception staff have very little opportunity to welcome members because of the numbers arriving at the same time. This could easily be avoided by installing the two minute traffic light system such as at the Bunree site. Access to the site would not then be an issue. I feel that if I arrived at a hotel to find a similar situation, I would drive on to a more welcoming competitor. The site is ok but is quite messy when the pitches are wet and covered in leaves. Small issues such as the Motorhome grey water drain is ill positioned making it almost impossible to drain into. I am sure that on a fine day with an event at Chatsworth House this would be a nice place to be. As it is, I am still struggling to find the positives to recommend Chatsworth Park, sorry.

We have never had a problem arriving. The chain is only there until one o'clock as arrivals cant be accepted before then, it states that on the booking. The access is just too narrow to have units going in and out at the same time. If you just wait an hour instead of arriving at 1pm with all the others it's not a problem.
