Great site for walking

We like to visit this site for the many walks straight from the site and not needing to use the car. The local pubs are within walking distance and reasonably priced for food. During our visit the site was having its trees trimmed, this was interesting, watching the tree surgeons go about their work, the noise made through the days did not bother us, but talking to some it did. I suppose you will never please some, as this site is open all year how do they expect maintenance to take place without some noise? Anyway during the week the site was not too busy which is unusual. The wardens are very pleasant. We were disappointed that the grass on the bends of the roads were churned up so badly water stayed in the ruts for ages. No attempt was made during our stay to fix them, most of the hard standings were in need of additional chatter as you could see mud/moss on pitches, we did notice most of the serviced pitches had been given fresh chatter though, so may be they will get on to the rest of the site.We were so pleased our peaceful stay was coming to and end as several caravans arrived which brought constant noise into the early hours of the morning and one young lad felt he could use the roadway as a race track, he would use the road opposite our pitch on his bike to gather speed then join the main road without even looking to see if any cars were coming, we were so pleased no cars were passing at that time, but it will not be long before an accident happens then the parents will be on the drivers back saying they were to blame. Please parents take control of your children do not expect others to do it.
