This is obviously an extremely popular site, but after managing to book a couple of nights it was disappointing to discover that it was simply the area that it covers rather than the site itself. We arrived on a Sunday to find a stream of around 10 outfits waiting on the single track road to book in causing mayhem to any one already on site trying to leave or enter. Once booked in, we found the site in a poor state of repair, with muddy pot holes in roadways and hard standings, pitches seemed squeezed in with quantity rather than quality being the order of the day. The area is wonderful, and access to the Chatsworth estate a bonus, but this site is over priced and below par.
