Spent a few days across new year with friends and had a really enjoyable time. Despite the snow the day we arrived the access to the site was safe and easy with a warden meeting us halfway down the access lane and chatting while the van in front cleared the reception area. Despite it being so wet we still had a few nice walks through the park and also took a short stroll into Baslow for a drink. The site is in a great location for touring the area being only 15/20 mins from Bakewell and Castleton which is a great place for walking and which has a number of very good pubs and eateries.
