Those Damned Crows
It’s a lovely site but choose your pitch very carefully. There are very noisy crows nesting in the trees everywhere. I made the mistake of parking under a tree, which it’s hard not to, and at the end of our 3 night stay our motorhome was literally covered in sticky black poo. Took me the best part of a day to clean it. Don’t expect too much peace during the day either with their constant squawking.
The wardens are absolute jobsworths. Very persnickety when checking in. They didn’t seem to think that my wife’s driving license with her photo on was suitable identification.
So, not happy about the crows, not happy with the wardens, and it’s bloody expensive but I do like the site and will return, if I don’t have to park under the trees.
