We have stayed at this site 5 times now and have been generally pleased; however this time we had some issues. Good access for Birmingham and the NEC. Firstly only one of the two toilet block open, which would have been more of a problem if the site had been busy (it was very quite for a week in August, never seen it like this). Secondly and my biggest issue was the fact that all of the waste bins had been removed and they now have large bins near the entrance (a bit like how the Caravan and camping club do it). this is most inconvenient and even if you take stuff to the bins on the way off site, these bins are located so you ned to drive around the site to exit after ditching the rubbish. not too sure of this scheme. of course the good old explanation that this is good for the environment was used. Not a thought for the members. If this is the way the Caravan club is going we will have to consider our membership next year.
