Have stayed at this site in the passed and have never had any issues. But this time the site seems to be a little run down and tired. Yes there were travellers on site but this had no bearing on general look and maintenance of the site . Grass in some areas was not cut and looked untidy, Weeds on pitches , welcome sign had become delaminated , only one toilet block open, and the one open had only 3 showers ( had to wait 2 mornings to get a shower. The ceiling in the gents was black and mouldy poss due to extractors not working. Not sure if its a lack of effort or the club not spending money on general maintenance. Its a shame because the site is close to our family , ideal for visiting B, Ham and the surrounding area and is close to the motorway network. A site we enjoyed but not anymore.
