No Excuse!

I have to agree with previous review. We arrived on Monday to attend the NEC on Tuesday to be told after registering that only 1 shower block was working.How can it take so long to mend a boiler.At home I could have mine repaired or replaced in a day! I have a simple contract to provide that. The only 2 wardens were under severe pressure due to a full site and needed more help. Strangely enough at the NEC there were loads of staff with little to do! The pitches were covered with debris from trees and had obviously not been touched since recent winds. I feel that we should have been advised of the issues before arrival. The Club has a cheek to still charge full price. One of the worst experiences in over 30 years membership.

Your "domestic" boiler is a far cry from the specialist commercial type of boilers fitted in cc facilities,when at FM last week it took 3days to replace the very large boiler after it had been deliveredsurprised,also as it is Autumm and has been quite windy how do you know that the site had not had some "debri" already removed ta couple of days earlier,,as it was where we were, its like the Forth Bridge used to to be this time of yearwink

I feel the criticism in the reviews is a little harsh but, even if it is justified, it reflects fleeting occurrences and not the standard of the site as it was last month or will be next month. 

The issues should be taken up with the club at HQ and wouldn’t influence me in the slightest if I was looking to stay at Chapel Lane.

That shower block was closed when we visited at the beginning of September!  We will never stay there again!
