This was our second visit to this site for New Year Break. A very handy site for all that Birmingham and surrounding areas can offer. Some recent reviewers have been a little unfair in my opinion as it is the middle of winter - having had serious snow - yes the site did look a little unkempt- but maybe we are a bit more understanding and tolerant than some. The Wardens were in the middle of duty changes and this reflected in the state of reception / stock etc, - This was explained to us and the Lead Warden and his wife - together with their assistants were able to use the receptions as a little "Swarie" party - many nibbles and wine - which we were pleased to partake thereof. All in all we enjoy this site and yes - there are parts of it that now look "tired" and probably needs a couple of " bob " spending on it.
