Visited the Cayton Village Club site for the first time last weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are quite new to motor homing, and this was only our 4th trip out. The facilities were great, the site is lovely and mature, with nice landscaping, making the site feel cosy, although it is fairly large. Toilets and showers were lovely and clean. Staff were helpful and always had a smile and a wave as they passed by. We were given a choice of pitches, and picked one on the lower level of the site, it was a fairly nice pitch, but it was next to the chemical toilet emptying point point and water tap, so next time I will avoid this, as it was less private as some other pitches we could have had, and also the smell from people emptying into the Elsan point was a little unpleasant at times, but this was our fault for choosing this pitch, and no fault of the site. The location is great for people without a car, just a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the lovely Cayton Bay, which has a great beach with lots of rockpools to explore, which our dog loved. The site is also only a short walk from the village, where there are a couple of nice pubs. We are looking forward to visiting again.
